Yesterday I collected photos of plants and other textural elements on a 2-mile hike on my sandy road up the mountain. Some I have digitally edited in Photoshop to see how I might incorporate them into paintings later on. The video of wind turbines is near Palm Springs, where I ran a quick errand today. The vast landscape full of white, futuristic windmills covering the windy, rolling desert hills is inspiring and somewhat alien-looking to a visitor like me.
